Monero XMR – new confirmation rules in the network

Dear users, Vobmenka has updated the parameters for Monero (XMR). The number of required network confirmations is now 150 blocks. This means that the waiting time for XMR deposits or exchanges may be noticeably longer than before. A confirmation is the process in which a transaction is verified by miners and added to the blockchain. Each new block created after your transaction increases its security level: the more confirmations, the lower the risk of a rollback or cancellation. For Monero, this is especially important because the network focuses on privacy, and transaction validation takes more time and computational resources. Therefore, the number of confirmations has been increased to 150 to ensure maximum reliability for all operations. How does this affect users? The waiting time for XMR crediting may increase depending on the current block generation speed in the network. Once 150 confirmations are received, the transaction is considered fully confirmed.
